Google Ads - Custom audiences

The objective of this recipe is to leverage an existing customer segmentation or create one using the Nessie audience builder and send these audiences to Google Ads in order to create a custom audience


  1. Ensure data is ingested using one or multiple sources

  2. Ensure a Google Analytics account is linked to Nessie in order to activate your data. We’ll build the audience in Google Analytics which can then natively be pushed to Google Ads as it’s part of the Google Marketing Platforms stack

  3. Create an audience using existing source-specific properties or create a new audience using user-specific properties or user generated events within the audience

  4. Send the audiences to Google Ads

  5. You can now build an audience in Google Analytics and share that to Google Ads
